We spent 3.5 days in Habana & 2.5 days in Vadadero. Cuban people are some of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I thoroughly enjoyed the culture – the art, the music & the dancing. It was wonderful! I hope to go back and visit Vinales and Trinidad next time. Maybe even Santiago : )

Eine Wohltat nach vielen casas mit kleinem Zimmer und winzigem Bad. Wir haben unsere 3 wöchige Reise komplett mit dem privaten Taxi Service von Casanara bestritten, die beste Entscheidung überhaupt! Der Preis sehr, sehr fair und an jedem Abreisetag zur nächsten Station stand der Fahrer pünktlich vor der Tür. Auch kurzfristige Änderungen in unserer Route stellten kein Problem dar. We would like to really thank casanara for all their recommendations and advise about our stay in Cuba. Once we arrived we realized how lucky we were to be assisted by them in planning our trip. We had limited time and wanted to make the most of our trip and they helped us map out our journey and advised us on the best way to reach places and realistic timing. The casas particulares where we stayed as well as recommendations on where to go and what to see were invaluable for getting a real taste of Cuba. We also loved the families running the recommended houses and the opportunity to meet them- we felt very safe there it allowed us to travel in a very authentic way. When talking to other travelers we realized how difficult it could be planning your holiday there and that it can be quite expensive. But having casanara services assisting you while travelling gave us a great advantage and spared us a lot of headache. When speaking to fellow travelers we met we told them about their service and that if go to Santiago they should absolutely stay at CASANARA. We would gladly recommend casanara services to future travelers so they can fully experience the beauty and wonder Cuba has to offer!

“As the title says, Casanera provided a charming and welcoming atmosphere where one can relax after a day in the heat of Santiago. The room with ensuite bathroom was clean with quiet and good air conditioning. The fridge was well stocked with soft drinks and alcohols. The breakfast and dinners prepared by Milena were delicious. The organized trips (inquire with the hosts Jordi and Milena) literally off the beaten track (waterfall, Cuban resort beach, countryside, public transport by truck, snorkeling at a local Cuban beach,...) were great experiences, thanks to our guide and expert spearfisherman, Alexandre. Sharing a cigar and some rum with the hosts and Alexander on the roof terrace at the end of the day made our stay even more pleasant. We would definitely stay there again.”

we are back in Germany and want to say Thank you for CasaNara.We enjoyed very much the stay with your family .The room including the private bathroom is very comfortable and Milenias dinner was much better than in a hotel.The location in Santiago de Cuba is perfect.You can walk to the old city with the places of interest and the tobacco and the rum factory and to the famous cemetry.The train station and the Viazul bus station is also nearby and a secured parking is in front of the house.

It is out of questions that we can recommend CasaNara.Can we write a reference letter or our comments somewhere on the website?

This family takes care of you from A-Z, whether arranging for taxis or a friendly guide to the city or an excursion into the countryside. Above all, these are wonderful, warm, friendly people who enjoy talking to you if you speak Spanish, and make you feel like part of their family if you choose to do so. Our most memorable evening in Santiago was the one where we shared a dinner of grilled pork on their rooftop terrace with them, and talked late into the night, as much as our limited Spanish would allow. This is a hard-working young family with a vision and a passion for all they do. If we go back to Santiago, there is no question in my mind where we will be staying. It was really, really sad to say good-bye!

first of all: so so sorry for my late reply. I did not forget you at all, it was just really busy and wanted to take my time.

Our stay in Cuba was wonderful. Not only are the people very friendly and helpful, but also nature is very beautiful. We liked especially Vinales, after loud and full of emissions Havana, it was great to get into calm and relaxed Vinales. Havana was superb though. The city with it's colourful houses invites to stroll around and to discover it by feet.

Also Trinidad and Santiago were great to stay. Trinidad seems to be "little Havana", colourful houses, walking distance, but very much in offer around the city. Beach, nature and waterfalls, old sugarcane areas. The trip with Alexandre really made our stay in Santiago special. That was such a nice day, we had so much and it  was a great experience to get to know  the real Cuba. Your family, Milena and Alexandre were the lovliest, we felt so welcomed at your house, would have loved to stay longer. Thanks again for everything . All the emails, text messages and for helping us organizing this trip. Also for your recommendations of other casas, we always felt as being home.
